 be as revenue generating sector and feed the people of the local gocernmen
 t\n\n• To teach local governments how to be financial viable and throw I
 deas and enlarge the vision of administrators of revenue generation in a c
 ommunity\n\nTo give participants a first experience in the use of IT in ef
 fective service delivery at local government level (especially in the proc
 ess of Internal revenue generation)\;\n\n• To create a forum for establi
 shment of links and opportunity for cooperation and technical support betw
 een Nigerian Local Government coumcils and their Moroccan\ncounterparts\;\
 n\n• To serve an opportunity for exchange of ideas onccmnmonproblemsardp
 rospects\;\n\n• To create an opportunity for exploration of economic coo
 peration between the Local Goverment Councils and interested Irish hismess
  groups\n\n&nbsp\;\nObjectives\n• Participants would be able to ldentify
  the key elements of running a modern people\ncentred local democratic adm
 inistration\n\n• They will be able to Identify various aspects of farmin
 g which IS a key sector in local government revenue administration\n\n• 
 They will be able to Identify the all-important role IT plays in modern lo
 cal\nadmmstration especially in the area of internal revenue generation\n\
 n• They would be able to establish direct links for cooperation technica
 l support and\ngrant aid for their respective Local Government Councils in
  Nigeria\n\n• Acquire new skills for contract negotiations one hand and 
 how to organise council staff effectively to complement the execution\, ma
 nagement and timely repairs of local government Infrastructures through th
 e use of direct labour\n\n• Identify ways of prudent management of scare
  resources and how to prioritize local government expenditure in lean time
