Abolaji Odunuga is not just a leader who gets things done, she is one who ensures things are done effectively and efficiently. As the CEO and Principal Partner of Custodian Global Consult Ltd - the parent company of Duchess International Magazine and Duke International Magazine, she brings a sharp mind, years of hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to drive real impact—whether in governance, policy development, or business strategy. She has worked with governments, private sector leaders, and international organisations, helping them comb through complex challenges and turn ideas into results.
Abolaji is not just about boardroom strategies—she is a builder of movements. She is the Visionary Convener of the Duchess International Women’s Day Conference (DIWDC), an initiative that has grown into one of the most influential platforms for African women. DIWDC isn’t just about conversations; it’s about action—connecting leaders, creating opportunities, and ensuring that African women are at the forefront of decision-making in leadership, business, and community development.
Abolaji wears many hats. She is a media executive, a serial publisher, and the founder of Duchess and Duke International Magazines, two platforms dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the voices of African women and men worldwide. She is also the Founder of the African Community in Surrey and Sussex (ACISS), a UK-based organisation dedicated to supporting and connecting African diaspora communities.
Abolaji is not just All about advocacy and leadership, she is a researcher at the University of Kent, where she focuses on key issues affecting African communities, diversity, and policy development. She also made history over a year ago when she became the 70th President of the Rotary Club of Crawley, using the role to drive impactful community projects and global partnerships.
Abolaji’s work is built on one simple but powerful belief: real change happens when people come together with a clear vision, connection and the right strategy. Whether she’s working on a policy reform, organising an international conference, or mentoring the next generation of leaders, she is focused on creating impact that lasts.
At Custodian Global Consult Ltd, she leads a team of creative minds, young and passionate, with that same energy—helping organisations build strong policies, implement effective strategies, and make decisions that create meaningful, sustainable results.
